Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These terms set out the conditions for using the website ifweb.kr (the "Site") operated by Insight Factory (인사이트팩토리, "we"), and the rights and obligations of us and our users.

2. Definitions

• "User" means anyone who visits and uses the Site under these terms.
• "Service request" means a request for review of consulting services submitted through the Site's form.
• "Engagement contract" means the separate services contract that we and a client sign after a service request, setting scope, timeline and fees.

3. Effect and changes

These terms take effect when posted on the Site.

We may change these terms within the limits of applicable law. Changes are announced on the Site 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users.

4. What the Site provides

• Information about our services, way of working, work samples and internal research projects
• Receipt of service requests and issuing of request numbers
• Other information we post on the Site

5. Service requests and contracts

A service request asks for consultation and a quote; submitting one does not form a contract. We review the request and send a proposal with scope, deliverables, timeline and fees, and a contract is formed only when both parties sign an engagement contract.

Starting prices shown on the Site are lower bounds based on typical scopes and exclude VAT. The final amount is set in the proposal and the engagement contract after scoping.

Performance, confidentiality, rights to deliverables, payment, warranty and termination are governed by the engagement contract, which takes precedence over these terms.

We may decline a request that falls outside our scope, is untrue, or violates law or public order.

6. User obligations

Users must not:

• Use another person's information or submit untrue requests
• Submit the form repeatedly by automated means or interfere with the Site's operation
• Probe or attack the Site's security without permission
• Infringe our or any third party's intellectual property or reputation

Please include only the information needed to review the request. Sensitive information such as passwords, access accounts or your customers' personal data is exchanged after contracting, by an agreed method.

7. Intellectual property

Copyright in the text, diagrams, work samples and design on the Site belongs to us. Users may not copy, distribute or modify them for commercial use without our prior consent.

Rights to engagement deliverables are set in the engagement contract.

8. Nature of Site information

Figures in work samples and impact estimates are illustrative assumptions and do not guarantee any result.

Finance-related features in the internal research projects are technical references, not investment advice or a solicitation to trade.

9. Limitation of liability

We are not liable when the Site is temporarily unavailable for reasons beyond our control, such as natural disasters, network failures or server maintenance, except in cases of our intent or gross negligence.

Unless the engagement contract provides otherwise, we are not liable for the results of decisions users make on their own based on information on the Site.

10. Privacy

Users' personal information is processed under our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Disputes about use of the Site will first be resolved through good-faith discussion; failing that, they are resolved by the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
